During his career spanning thirty four years starting with Office Automation Direct Sales in Modi Xerox, Swede India, Bradma of India and Kilburn Reprographics as Business Head, he moved into executive search consulting in 2004.
He brings with him extensive experience of leadership talent consulting with top Indian and multinational companies as well as with emerging sectors specializing in executive search and advising on talent strategy to attract both Indian as well as Global talent.
His domain expertise lies in supporting clients from Infrastructure & EPC, Metals & Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy & Power, Automotive, Logistics & Transportation gaining a reputation for doing Board and Senior level appointments with a client-centric focus. Amarendra is highly proficient in cross border leadership searches and has a deep understanding of transnational business cultures.
Prior to Iris HigherGround Executive Search, he worked with EXS Globe Network, Gilbert Tweed, Transearch and Ma Foi Global Search, where he supported clients in various Industry sectors.
Apart from the realm of Executive Search, he is trained to be an Executive Coach by Marshall Goldsmith at the Indian School of Business to support Business Leaders. He was a mentor with the Consultancy Development Centre, an Autonomous Institution of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India for development of Human Resource & Talent Management Consulting framework.
He is qualified with Honours Degree in Psychology with Master of Laws from Utkal University and Business Management from XLRI also holding a Pre-PhD in Intellectual Property. His assessment of an “Intellectual Property Road Map in the Emerging AI driven Technology Environment” has been published at the National Conference on “Regulatory Challenges to Business in India” and his new research on “Emergence of AI in Executive Search” is awaiting review and publication.
